Summary
In this chapter, we learned everything we need to know about using different kinds of authenticators and setting up policies for them, both for signing in and for accessing applications. We also deep-dived into Okta’s features around contextual MFA, where your authentication and global session policies can be adaptive. You now understand how to set up zones and how to use them in different ways. Lastly, we looked at the possibility of using MFA for VPNs and similar solutions.
In the next chapter, we will look into Okta’s lifecycle management (LCM) features. We will discuss the basics of LCM and its powerful features, such as provisioning and HR-as-a-source.
