The benefits of Runtime Fabric
The following benefits are provided by Runtime Fabric:
- Runtime Fabric allows you to run a MuleSoft application in lightweight containers.
- Runtime Fabric can be set up on EKS, AKS, GKE, Red Hat OpenShift, and bare-metal servers/VMs on-premises or in any cloud.
- Multiple versions of the Mule runtime are supported in the same Runtime Fabric.
- It supports zero-downtime deployments or updates.
- The minimum replica size supported on Runtime Fabric is 0.02 vCores.
- It provides container-based application isolation. Each container is independent of each other.
- It supports features such as high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and automatic recovery of replicas.
- Hazelcast-based clustering is supported to store and share data across replicas.
- Each application can be scaled independently of others and each application can be deployed on a different replica size.
