Time for action – configuring conditional activities
With editing turned on, click on the Update icon next to the Firing a bullet from a gun resource.
Scroll down to the Restrict access section (note that this section is only available if the conditional activities feature is switched on in your Moodle):
From the Activity completion condition drop-down menu, I'm going to choose Sources of Energy, which "must be marked complete":
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the Save and return to course button.
We can see that access to the Firing a bullet from a gun resource is now restricted:
What just happened?
I've just configured access to a resource to be conditional on having viewed another resource. As you can imagine, there are a myriad of ways of configuring conditional activities so I thought it best to show you the simplest kind of controlling access—meaning you can't do A without attempting B.
