Summary
This chapter introduced the nine pillars for great solution architecture, described the architect’s role, and provided an overview of the capabilities and features available within Power Platform and the wider Microsoft cloud-based ecosystem. Understanding the capabilities and features available within the Power Platform framework and associated Microsoft services will help find the most optimal solution during the design process. The pillars for great architecture will, in turn, guide the decisions and actions taken throughout the project, resulting in a secure, cost-effective, supportable solution that solves the organization’s problem.
The next chapter introduces our sample case study used throughout this book’s Power Platform implementation case study.
