Technical requirements

Working with AI Builder requires a licensing model different from the one we have come to know. An administrator needs to purchase the capacity add-on and allocate it to the environment where AI Builder is required.

This add-on includes 1 million service credits. To get a better estimate on using these credits, Microsoft provides the AI Builder calculator with some usage scenarios that can help you understand the costs: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/ai-builder-calculator/

Keep in mind that some Power Platform licenses include AI Builder credits, such as the Power Apps per app plan. There is also a 30-day trial license that allows the use of these features without requiring the capacity add-on. For more information, please refer to https://aka.ms/tryaibuilder
