Chapter 10: Advanced Features, Getting Help, and Contributing
At this point, we've covered all of the core features of Metabase. We started our journey covering how to properly deploy and set up an instance of Metabase. We then learned how to connect to a database and enhance our data model's metadata. Finally, we learned how to create questions, both in the notebook editor and the SQL console, make them into interactive visualizations, and add them to dashboards and pulses. We're now equipped with everything we need to create a well-functioning analytics environment for an organization of any size.
Because this book is intended for power users, we won't simply stop at an overview of all the core features. Power users should know about everything Metabase has to offer, including where to get help. In the first half of this chapter, we will learn about some of the advanced features Metabase offers.
