Configuring the location for the AVD metadata
AVD is currently available for deployment in all Azure regions. IT admins can select the geographical location to store metadata when creating their host pool VMs and associated services. You would want to store the metadata locally in your organizations for data sovereignty purposes.

There is no region restriction or limit to where you can access user- and app-specific data.
