Creating and Animating Shapes
In the previous chapter, we looked at many of the introductory concepts around Animate through an examination of historical usage, new features, and the fundamentals of working with the software.
This chapter covers a solid introduction to creating visual content and adding motion to it within the Animate software. We will begin with an exercise that involves drawing vector shapes, along with a more detailed view of various interface elements. We will then add motion to the content we’ve drawn through the use of shape tweens and easing presets. Finally, we’ll see various options for exporting this animated content to distributable formats.
