Summary
In this chapter, we looked at how to edit and create service unit files. Along the way, we looked at various parameters that we can set, including several security-related ones. We also saw the importance of testing any changes that we make to the service files before putting them into production. And of course, there's that one thing that I keep pointing out, about the importance of knowing how to use the systemd
man pages.
In the next chapter, we'll look at systemd
targets. I'll see you there.
