Summary
We started this chapter by looking at some basic performance engineering strategy that is much needed for the final success of the testing effort. We then looked at testing goals' definition along with test tools, automation and metrics. We finally looked at some of the portal, portlet, and WEF testing specifics, and finally looked at some real samples. We finished off briefly looking at security. Because testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning, and fixing is an interactive process, the following chapters are interrelated layers within the same process flow. They all complement each other.
