Summary

In this chapter, we introduced a real-world use case in the evaluation of well drilling logs to classify lithofacies.

We loaded a sample file and performed various profiling and visualization exercises comparing Watson profiles, as well as using Python commands within a notebook. Finally, we used specialized Python libraries to build various types of models and then presented a graph of a supervised machine learning algorithm.

In the next chapter, we will build a cloud-based, multibiometric identity authentication platform.
