A detailed exploration of Google Cloud generative AI

In this section, we’ll start interacting with Google Cloud’s generative AI offerings. To set the stage, I’ll begin by briefly introducing Google Cloud Vertex AI Studio.

Google Cloud Vertex AI Studio

Vertex AI Studio can be accessed within the Google Cloud console UI, and it provides an interface to easily start using all of the generative AI models I described in the previous section.

To access the Google Cloud Vertex AI Studio UI, perform the following steps:

In the Google Cloud console, navigate to the Google Cloud services menu and choose Vertex AI.
Under the Get started with Vertex AI section, click ENABLE ALL RECOMMENDED API, as depicted in Figure 17.2:
