Adding an existing app to Teams
Once again, Power Apps is a low-code development tool that allows for the rapid creation of custom apps that support your business needs. These apps can exist and run in a variety of locations, such as a browser, mobile phone, SharePoint sites, and inside of Teams. Adding apps to channels makes it easy for team members to interact with the app within the same collaboration platform they are already using. For example, an HR team in charge of hiring might use an app to manage candidate interview feedback for open positions in their organization.
If you are already familiar with building Power Apps apps and have existing apps, feel free to skip to the Embedding app as a tab section to see how we bring it into Teams. In the interest of time, we will be creating a sample app using the Interview Tool template. After creating the app, we will learn how to add this app to a Teams channel as a tab and how to install it for personal use.
