Technical requirements and lab setup

To successfully follow along and complete the tasks and exercises throughout this chapter and the following chapters in this book, we will need to ensure that the Technical requirements sections from Chapter 1, Exam Overview and the Current State of Cloud Workflows, has been fulfilled in full. We will primarily utilize our Azure tenant to complete exercises and tasks throughout this chapter to align with the AZ-801 exam objectives.

Let’s begin with the setup and walkthrough steps to establish the necessary Azure resources needed for the exercises in this chapter:

1. To begin, visit https://portal.azure.com utilizing the Global Administrator account created in Chapter 1, Exam Overview and the Current State of Cloud Workflows.
2. Select Resource groups from the list of Azure services or simply search for Resource groups and select it to continue.
3. Select + Create to create a new resource group, selecting the Subscription option...
