Technical requirements
Most of the topics covered in this chapter are accessible to Personal, Trial, Commercial, Startup, and Educational Fusion 360 license types. There are certain Fusion 360 commands, such as ARRANGE, that are not accessible with the Personal license type. In examples where a certain function is not accessible with a Personal license type, an alternative feature will be presented so that you can continue with the exercise.
If you have a Commercial license of Fusion 360, to create a volumetric lattice, you will also need access to the Product Design extension (https://www.autodesk.com/products/Fusion-360/product-design-extension).
Autodesk offers a 14-day trial for the Product Design extension. You can activate your trial within the EXTENSIONS dialogue of Fusion 360.
Product Design extension access is not available for personal/hobby licenses of Fusion 360.
