Summary
Within this chapter, we first saw a technical overview of the Hyper-V virtual switch, and then we went through a number of newly added features in the Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V virtual switch. While discussing all these newly added features in Hyper-V Windows Server 2012, we also saw how these new features can help us build an enterprise-level virtualized platform for server virtualization and cloud-based virtualized environments.
After completing the Hyper-V virtual switch overview and discovering the newly added features of Hyper-V with Windows Server 2012, we discussed the configuration and management of the Hyper-V virtual switch.
