Introduction to PWAs
PWA is not an official or formal term. It was first used by Google to refer to web applications that are flexible and adaptable. PWAs are web applications that take advantage of both web and native app features. They are implemented using various technologies and standard patterns. PWAs tend to be faster and more reliable as they use features provided by modern browsers that allow them to access native platform features and work offline. Generally speaking, PWAs are applications written using web technologies that look and behave like web applications; however, by using modern browser technologies, they offer the functionalities of native applications.
