Campaigns

In this section, we will look at the capabilities of Sales Cloud for recording and managing activities or programs of activities that target multiple people, then explore some of the key considerations and what happens in practice.

Sales Cloud capabilities

These Objects are used to capture data about the activities in Salesforce. The Campaign record is the header record that captures the summary information. The Campaign Member Object relates people, Leads, and Contacts, to the Campaign record.

In this session, we will explore the Campaign and Campaign Member Objects.

Campaign

The Campaign captures the overall details of a mass audience activity, for example, an online or physical event. It includes data such as the activity name, type and status, associated costs, and responses.
