Resetting or deleting animation

No matter how carefully we plan and create our animations, we will sometimes need to go back to adjust or maybe even completely cancel an entire animation. Fortunately, editing an animation sequence is super easy!

Getting ready

  1. Open your prezi.
  2. Identify the frame that holds the animations you want to edit (if you have a lot of frames on your canvas, this sometimes requires a little investigation).

Tip

The fastest way to zoom into a frame is to click on the frame in the path lane. Another good method is to click on it on the canvas and choose Zoom to frame.

How to do it…

  1. Switch to the Edit Path mode.
  2. Click on the animation star for the frame with the animated content that you want to edit. This opens the animation dialogue box.
  3. To reset (cancel) all animations in this frame, click on Reset in the top-left corner of the animation dialogue box.
  4. To reset (cancel) animation for a single animated element, hover over its green star and then click on the emerging red...
