Summary

In this chapter, we have introduced the three scenarios that we will use to build the EA repository in Sparx. Every scenario and story mentioned in this chapter is purely fictional and was written to illustrate the different roles an enterprise architect can play in different projects and engagements at all the layers of the enterprise at the same time. We have learned how to build an artifacts backlog that contains the user stories to address stakeholders' requirements. We have also learned that defining metamodels is as important as building the artifacts, because without them we would not be able to maintain consistency across the EA repository.

In the next chapter, we will start building the EA repository using Sparx and populate it with the content that addresses all these user stories. The fun part is just about to begin.
