Chapter 7. Working with Navigation Flows
Many of the web applications that are available in the market involve complex tasks and approval processes to provide a secure way of controlling the navigation between web pages. For example, imagine you are in an online bookstore and you want to check out a book. The lists of options available to you are to log in to your account, browse through the books available, add to the shopping cart, and then check out the product. There are four separate flows involved in this process to buy a product. Each flow is individual and has a specific entry and exit points. ADF controller introduces the concept of task flows to simplify the navigation and to reuse the flows for any number of times.
In this chapter, we will learn about:
Task flows
Control flows and activities
Task flow parameters
The ADF lifecycle
