Summary
In this chapter, we described the threat protection and XDR capabilities of Microsoft 365 Defender. This included Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. The combination of these Microsoft 365 Defender solutions and Microsoft Defender for Cloud provides full XDR capabilities within Microsoft. In the next chapter, we will describe the security capabilities of Microsoft Sentinel and how these Microsoft Defender solutions further assist in protecting our company against threats and attacks through fully integrated security operations.
