Actions are automated processes that create a new operation that is not available as standard in the CDS or to combine multiple operations into a single operation. For example, in the case of a help desk, you could combine create, assign, and change status operations into a single new escalate operation.
Action processes can be initiated from code, by Power Automate flows, and by classic workflows.
