Monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity

This section briefly covers some of the tools you can use to monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues for AVD.

Confirming all required URLs aren’t blocked

To confirm that you have set up your Azure VNet correctly and allowed the required URLs, run the built-in tool called WVDAgentURLTool.exe. You can find this command-line tool in the RD agent folder on the session host.

Tool requirements

The RD Agent needs to be version 1.0.2944.400 or higher. You can find the latest version at https://docs.microsoft.com/azure/virtual-desktop/safe-url-list.

You can find your Agent version from the host pool within the Azure portal, as shown in the following screenshot:
