Chapter 9: Working with Objects – ICA, SIC, Managed, Static, and Variable Objects
In this chapter, we will learn how to create, modify, and use objects. We will cover the topics of Internal Certificate Authority (ICA) and Secure Internal Communication (SIC) and how these factor into the creation of other Check Point managed objects. We will create our first high-availability cluster as well as most of the rest of the objects representing components of our lab. We will also address the need for variable objects and learn about some of those.
