Creating a VPC in AWS

In this recipe, we will create a VPC manually and explore the default configurations that are created by AWS.

Getting ready

We need a working AWS account to complete this recipe.

How to do it...

We can create a VPC in AWS as follows:

1. Log in to AWS and go to the VPC service in the console:

2. Click on Your VPCs on the left. You will be taken to the following screen:

3. Click on Create VPC.
4. Enter the details shown in the following screenshot and click Create:
