Fraud, Spam, and Phishing Detection
Fraud, phishing, and spam detection are critical areas in cybersecurity, aimed at identifying and preventing malicious activities. Fraud detection involves identifying deceptive actions aimed at gaining financial or personal benefits through dishonest means. Fraud detection is particularly important in industries such as banking, e-commerce, and insurance. Phishing detection aims to identify and prevent attempts to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity. Meanwhile, spam detection focuses on identifying and filtering out unwanted and unsolicited messages, typically in email communication. Spam can include advertisements, malware, and phishing attempts.
