Using the Format Painter
As in many Microsoft products, the Format Painter in Articulate Storyline allows you to copy the formatting of one object and apply it to another object, be it text, button styling, and so on. This feature is a huge time-saver when it comes to development.
To use the Format Painter, select the object you want to copy formatting from (1), then select the Format Painter icon from the HOME tab (2), and then select the object you want to copy the formatting to (3).
Tip
If you double-click on the Format Painter, you can apply formatting to multiple objects.
You will notice that the formatting has changed accordingly for the receiving object.
The Format Painter also applies to formatting states. If you want to apply a consistent format to states of multiple objects, or of one object, then select the formatted object, choose the Format Painter, and select the object you wish to apply the formatting to.
