Designing an Active Directory Infrastructure
The Active Directory (AD) role installation process has been made easy in the last few versions of Windows Server operating systems. Even if you don't have advanced knowledge of AD, with a few clicks, you can install an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) role on a server. But there is a lot more to think about before you install your first domain controller in an IT infrastructure. First, we need to evaluate our business requirements. We need to evaluate our security/compliance requirements, and then we can decide what AD features/services to enable and where to place them in the infrastructure.
