Living longer is linked to living greener. The solutions to achieve healthy longevity and address the climate change crisis are synergistic: active travel, less car use, more green spaces, better nutrition, and better air quality.
Investors and policymakers should recognize that the solutions fit well with the principles of sustainable investment, and should prioritize capital for large-scale, long-term social projects in preventative health, guided by Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) mandates like we do for climate change.
