Within this lab, we are going to create a new environment in the PowerApps Admin center. You don't need to have completed any previous lab; this is purely administrative in nature.
Please ensure that you have administrator rights in order to follow these steps.
Activity 1: Creating an environment
The first thing we are going to do is create an environment by going through the following steps:
- Log into the Office 365 portal (portal.office.com).
- In the Apps list, select Admin:
- In the menu on the left side of the screen, select All admin centers (if this is not visible, select Show All):
- When the list of admin centers appears, select PowerApps:
- To add a new environment, click on the + New environment button in the top-right corner:
- When the dialog box appears, provide it with the details for the environment:
- Environment name: For example, Matt's Environment.
- Location: Select your regional data center.
- Environment type: Select Trial.
- Click Create environment...
