Summary
We have covered quite a bit in this chapter, so let’s take a quick recap. First, we learned about domains, some of the settings resolution divisions, timesteps, and the importance of the different cache modes, including Replay, Modular, and Final. We talked about the smoke settings, density, heat, vorticity, adaptive domain, and dissolving the smoke. We also covered how to easily add more detail to the smoke using Noise and how to change how the flames look in the Fire panel.
Next, we moved on to the liquid settings and talked all about liquid particles, meshes, foam, spray, and bubble particles, speed vector blur, and a bunch more options. Guides was another topic we cover and how you can add velocity from another object to your simulation. Finally, we covered flow objects and effectors and all the settings that come with those objects.
Hopefully, this chapter gave you an in-depth understanding of all the settings in Mantaflow. Remember to always come back and...
