As part of our process of designing a sales management integration, we take the business use cases that we identified in the last section and convert them to new integration workflows.

The preceding diagram shows the new integration workflows that we need to support in order to address the issues the sales team have identified. We will now explore them in more detail. They offer:

  • The ability to create quotes and orders in CRM

  • The ability to view quote and order history in CRM

When CRM sales users wish to create a quote or an order for a customer, they need to leave their CRM application and open up their ERP application. This can be frustrating.
