Quality growth
To create the best quality of applications, we must make sure that we have the right roles in our team. Note that I purposely did not specify the usual right people for the job because I feel some people might work well in different roles. Let us then review what types of roles are available in quality.
Roles for testing
We discussed the roles for testing in the very first chapter of this book Chapter 1, Introduction – Finding Your QA Level. Feel free to review that chapter for more information if you do not feel comfortable with the descriptions in this chapter. In order to look for the right skills to grow within a company, it is imperative that you understand what the exact role entails. As we mentioned in Chapter 1, different companies define the roles differently, so job descriptions and internal descriptions are a good way of figuring out the needs for each position.
