Chapter 4. Creating the Storyboard
In the previous chapter, you discovered how to use a script to spell out the audio portion of your e-learning video. In this chapter, you will discover the importance of creating a storyboard that merges the audio and visuals together. A good storyboard is just what it sounds like: a document, drawing, or combination of the two that defines the story you want to tell. It provides clear directions for the visual aspects of your e-learning video, alongside a script for the narration. In real terms, it is a series of pictures, sketches, drawings, or screenshots in one column with notes about what is happening at that time in the video. A second column shows the narrative words being spoken or shown in captions at the same time in the story.
