As you’ve seen throughout this book, data literacy is both an individual construct and an organizational one. There is a common misconception about data literacy and data-informed decision-making that it is mostly focused on learning the right tools and using the right technologies. However, there is much more that is required. Even with the best data strategy and the right tools, it still requires the people who make the decisions to turn the data and insights into good decisions.
