Introduction

This chapter is one of the most important chapters, as it takes you to the next level of building blocks of application/game development. Everyone loves to interact, and applications or games would be boring if they are more demonstrative than interactive. In this chapter, event handling is introduced. It is one of the most essential parts of any application or game.

Note that, as mentioned in Chapter 4, Images and Videos, all recipes should be hosted on a local web server for execution. This is because some API functions need a secure environment. In addition, enable the experimental canvas features on your browser. In Chrome, this can be done through chrome://flags.
