Using the Calculate Field tool to populate multiple features
You have now seen how to edit individual attributes for single features from within the attribute table. But what if you need to update several features at the same time with the same value or use a calculation in the attribute Table window? ArcGIS Pro includes at least a couple of tools that allow you to accomplish this, including the Calculate Field and Calculate Geometry tools.
In this recipe, we will focus on the Calculate Field tool. You will use this tool to populate the pipe material for several selected sewer lines. Next, you will populate a field that combines values found in other fields within the table that will be used for labeling.
Getting ready
