Introduction

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the most popular cloud providers out there. It consists of over 15 regions geographically located across 4 continents, and provides over 70 different services. It serves customers in over 190 countries, including several governments. Elastic Compute Cloud, better known as EC2, launched in 2006, and is one of the most popular services of AWS. Some of the most popular components of EC2 are:

Instances (virtual machines)
Volumes (disks)
Amazon Machine Image or AMI (disk snapshots)
Security groups (firewalls)
Elastic Load Balancers (application and network load balancers)
Auto scaling groups (to scale instances)

Most of the basic building blocks for running a simple application are provided by AWS EC2 itself.

Aditya Patawari is a Systems Engineer by profession, and just loves to play around with Linux and other open source technologies. He works on various parts of system lifecycles, and handles infrastructure automation and scaling of applications. He is also a contributor at Fedora project, and can be heard talking about the same along with the Linux systems automation at several conferences and events. He has worked on Ansible both at BrowserStack.com where he leads a team of systems engineers and at Fedora Project. I would like to thank my family with being patient with me. Chhavi Aggarwal started working on Dynamics AX in 2012. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has worked on both the 2009 and 2012 versions of Dynamics AX. She is an expert in SSRS reports and has also done a lot of customization and development in Dynamics AX R2/R3 through X++. She has a very deep knowledge of the technical aspects related to Dynamics AX R2/R3, as well as sound technical and logical skills in customization and development.
