Summary
In this chapter, we have gone through some of the more advanced features. We have looked at how version management works by doing a check out and then a check in, which creates a new version. Then we looked at how to set permissions for a node by setting up a group with write permissions for a specific document. We also looked at how to set up a relationship between two nodes. And finally, the search features were explored, which are based on the SQL 92 standard and are easy to learn.
In the next chapter, we will look into how the Alfresco platform implements the CMIS standard and how Alfresco uses CMIS between different clients and the server, including how Alfresco in the cloud supports CMIS.
