Part 2: Learn, Set Up, and Evaluate Wired and Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) Networks
On completion of Part 2, you will have learned how to install, configure, and test important network nodes and protocols of CSMA/P2P/Wi-Fi (802.11n/ac/ax) and ad hoc networks using ns-3. As part of your Wi-Fi research activities, you will learn how to set up and simulate ad hoc routing, and about 802.11n/ac/ax advanced features, including frame aggregation, channel bonding, MIMO, resource scheduling, and BSS coloring using ns-3-supporting Wi-Fi algorithms.
This part has the following chapters:
- Chapter 4, Setting Up and Evaluating CSMA/P2P LANs, Wi-Fi LANs, and the Internet
- Chapter 5, Exploring Basic Wi-Fi Technologies and Setting Up and Evaluating Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
- Chapter 6, Researching Advanced Wi-Fi Technologies 802.11n, ac, and ax in ns-3
