Storage adapters
vSphere hosts use different types of storage adapters. iSCSI, Fiber Channel (FC), Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), RAID, and Ethernet adapters are supported by vSphere hosts.
The following table enlists the different types of storage and their compatible adapters (log files that are important to troubleshoot storage issues will be discussed following the table):
