End User Training
In the previous chapter, we discussed user acceptance testing (UAT) and why it is crucial for successful go-live and for improving user adoption and gaining trust by working with business testers. We saw the benefits from business users performing test real-life business end-to-end scenarios. By performing UAT, we also saw that we can ensure the new functionality does exactly what it is intended to do and meets the business requirements.
So far, we have built an excellent system of features and functions and come almost to the end, completed our UAT successfully and obtained sign off from stakeholders, and are ready for a grand go-live. The last thing left before we hand the system over to our users is end user training. What good will it be if the users do not know how the system functions, what features are available, or how to navigate the system?
