Components of Cloud IAM
Cloud IAM shares many of the core concepts as traditional IAM, but the naming structure is slightly different. The key components of Cloud IAM are explained in the following subsections.
Members
Instead of entities, in Cloud IAM, we have members. This is the same concept as entities, it's just that Google Cloud calls them members, which makes sense – that's exactly what they are:
