Operations suite

Perhaps you already know this tool by its previous name – Stackdriver. Google recently rebranded its monitoring and logging cloud solution to the Cloud operations suite. The operations suite allows developers to monitor, track, analyze, and troubleshoot application performance.

The operations suite consists primarily of two separate tools: Google Cloud Monitoring (GCM) and Google Cloud Logging (GCL). Other services in the operations suite include Cloud Trace, Cloud Debugger, and Cloud Profiler.

Let's take a look at the two main services separately.

Features of Google Cloud Monitoring

Google Cloud Monitoring (GCM) is a full-stack monitoring tool that helps you with critical information about your app, including performance metrics, uptime, health, and trends. It can also be integrated with popular tools such as Slack for easier notifications, discussions, and collaborative decision-making. Here are some of its key features:
