Rotating an element

One of the cool things about Prezi is that you can angle or turn any element on the canvas, so that it is in a turned position. When shown in the Present mode, Prezi turns the canvas to show the element as it is (meaning its original, upright look), thus creating the illusion that the element turns.

Turning is a very characteristic Prezi feature. However, at the same time, it is a feature that you should use with caution. Turning can make your audience feel seasick, if your canvas turns around too much or too frequently.

How to do it…

Turning adds a great variety to Prezi when used right. It is beautiful to look at, and a feature that we wouldn't find in any other presentation program.

To rotate an element, you will need to use your mouse and perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the element to select it.
  2. The selected element now has a blue frame around it.
  3. Hover your mouse over one of the corners of the blue frame.
