Time for action – setting up the Registration Enrollment plugin (default site-wide settings)


Now that we have installed the files that make up the Registration Enrollment plugin and have created a new user profile field to be used by the system, we need to enable the plugin and then set it up to control the enrollment for some of our courses. Follow these steps to get the system up and running:

  1. Click on the Courses and then Enrolment links found in the Site Administration block on the front page of your Moodle site.

  2. This will present the Enrolments window that will look like the following screenshot. Tick the Enable box found to the right of the Registration Enrolment line, as shown in the following screenshot, and then click on the Save changes button:

  3. Next, click on the Edit link to access the plugin settings.

  4. The Registration Enrolment window that will appear, shown in the following screenshot, presents a Save changes button but clicking on this button will merely return you to the Enrolments...
