Card forms are used to display information for a record in a condensed format. The card form can be used in many places in the user interface of a model-driven app:
- In the streams in interactive dashboards
- On mobile devices
- As the read-only grid control for views
- For views instead of a grid when the width of the view is small – for example, on subgrids in on-column sections
- In the timeline control
You should limit the number of fields on a card form.
You can create multiple forms of each type and use different forms for different users and in different situations.
