In this chapter, we discussed the Horizon View architecture and the different components that make up the complete solution. We covered key technologies, such as how linked clones and instant clones work to optimize storage, and then we introduced some of the features that go toward delivering a great end user experience, such as delivering high-end graphics, unified communications, profile management, and how the protocols deliver the desktop to the end user.
Now that you understand all of these features and components, how they work, and how they fit into the overall solution, in the upcoming chapters, we will be taking a deeper look at how to configure them.
