SSRS versus Power BI Report Server
While SSRS was introduced with the release of SQL Server 2005, the first release of Power BI Report Server was made generally available in June 2017. Power BI Report Server includes a superset of the features of SSRS. This means that everything you can do in SSRS can be done with Power BI Report Server plus the additional capability of distributing interactive dashboard-style reports through the report web portal.
So, even though Power BI Report Server includes all the features of SSRS, Power BI Report Server offers several new capabilities that are unique to Power BI and Power BI Report Server.
